My friends Marcus Wynne and Ralph Mroz have teamed up to produce an excellent resource for all students of the combative arts.
If you are unfamiliar with Marcus, here is a brief bio….
“Marcus Wynne is the world’s foremost training designer for high-stress occupations. He introduced John Boyd’s OODA loop to the law enforcement community, brought neuro-linguistic-programming into military combatives, and evolved a cutting edge training protocol that embeds stress inoculation within the context of accelerated learning. He is a military veteran of the US Army’s 82d Airborne and a federal law enforcement veteran who served with the Federal Air Marshal Program. He’s taught at FLETC and hundreds of law enforcement and military academies; his work has been adopted at the national level in South Africa, Sweden, and Norway. He continues his research in consultation with DARPA, NASA, Naval Research and other cutting edge military research institutions here and abroad. He’s honored to share his work here with you.”
Marcus has been a firearms and combatives training innovator for more than 30 years. He truly understands the mental aspect of performance enhancement better than anyone I know.
Ralph is a long time cop, trainer and author who I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for more than 10 years.
The two teamed up to create a video showing physical and mental performance technique enhancements for firefighters. Even though the video is directed towards those who are in the fire service, the knowledge is highly applicable to the combative arts as well.
When the video is complete, it will be available for FREE on Ralph’s Fire Fighters Support Foundation web site.
Until then, please watch this 30 minute unedited version at Marcus’ site. You will learn how to make some life changing performance enhancements in a very short time using the techniques Marcus shows in the video.
Make the time to watch the video this weekend. You’ll be glad you did.
Marcus and Ralph aren’t just educators, they are excellent authors as well. Marcus has written some of the most realistic combat scenes I’ve ever read in his novels. Ralph has been writing about realistic close quarters shooting tactics since before most trainers even knew they were in existence.
