Here are my upcoming open enrollment classes for April and May. I also have two new classes in October for which I just opened up registration. Here we go…
Next weekend is the only remaining instructor class with available slots that I’m offering this year. It’s in Louisiana about halfway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. We currently have 14 students registered, but there is room for a few more.
April 11-12, 2026- Close Quarter Gunfighting Instructor Development near Baton Rouge Louisiana. Registration details here.
Following my instructor class I have two classes at Karl Rehn’s place in central Texas. The first is a one-day basic close quarters gunfighting class.

The following day will be the only impact weapon class I’m teaching this year. I get more requests for a cane fighting class than any other course offering I have. When I list one, no one signs up. This one currently has very low enrollment and could definitely use a few more students.

In May, I’ll be teaching a very unique class with co-instructor Bryan McKean. It’s the only class I’ve seen about how to carry, deploy, and shoot a folding long gun carried in a sling bag or backpack. This one sold out when we did it two years ago, but registration has been slow this year.
Any gun that can be concealed in a bag is fine for this class. You can bring a rimfire rifle, pistol caliber carbine, or centerfire 5.56mm gun. It will be held on a 25-yard air conditioned indoor range.
