It shouldn’t need to be said, but if you choose second rate guns for your self protection needs, you will likely be disappointed.
Ballistic testing of the 148 grain wadcutter target load out of a snubby .38. This load is known for its mild recoil and extreme accuracy. Cecil Burch talks about how to tell if you are truly pressure testing your techniques…
Daniel Coyle discusses a study about how a single phrase improved teaching outcomes 40-320%. If you are a coach, trainer, or educator you must understand these concepts. Coyle’s book The Talent Code is also highly recommended.

Max Velocity Tactical talks about the current capabilities of our military drones and how to defeat them. Pick up his book Contact for more ideas.
An interesting concept for those of you who live in states where high capacity rifle magazines are banned.
A look at an Eminem movie clip provides some novel insight about communications, psychology, and how to influence people. These same ideas can be used to keep you safe on the street. Think about how you might mold these concepts to fit within the context of self protection.
If you have a traditional double action autopistol (where the first trigger pull is longer and heavier than subsequent pulls), here is a version of the Dot Torture shooting drill that will allow you to effectively practice the transition between different trigger pull weights.
…and if you use one you should also feel bad because everyone else on the line with you thinks you are a dick

It would be smart to consider this possibility in your survival plans. Check out the fictional books Lights Out and One Second After for ideas about what may happen if Iran hits us with an EMP and plan accordingly.
